"GA =Georgia / girl = female"
So many of you have asked me what "GA' stands for and why is my page titled "GreatAnklesGirl". It's really quite simple, when I first began IRC my nick was GAgirl. Being from the south I thought GA was obvious. (GA=Georgia) but I soon found that outside the South many had no clue to it's meaning. On IRC I was asked often, what does GA stand for. Once after answering the question for what seemed like the hundredth time in an hour, I blurted out Great Ankles. We all had a few laughs and it was forgotten. But one IRCer never let me forget my answer and thus "Great Ankles" became a nick for my IRC nick. Then others began to send me words for GA and the above is the results. DO I have "Great Ankles"? hmmmmm .......
Some of you have written asking to know who I am and why there's no personal bio on my pages. I am a true Southerner, born and raised in Georgia. I live in a small town south of Atlanta with my husband. I have a beautiful daughter and wonderful son. By day, I'm an accountant, by night a computer geek. *grin* But you see, this site is not about me... it's about showing your love to those special people in your life. I believe there is no greater joy in life than feeling loved by friends, family, spouses, God, and humankind. Loving words and actions bring health, healing, and happiness. We are often quick to criticize or say hurting words...slow to vocalize our love. As someone once said, "What the world needs more of is love." I don't know a single person who's life is so full that he/she doesn't desire a little more love. Hopefully these pages will encourage you to show your love and affection to those who mean the most in your life. There's someone wanting to hear those three magical words, take time to say them today!"They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel." - Carl W. Buechner
